Our KS95 Music Video Is DONE!

It’s been a crazy few days here at the farm. I had been meaning to call KS95 to try to get them to make me a jingle for weeks. Wednesday is a day that I can sleep in. I’m not a morning person. I needed to call at 7:30 am, and last Wednesday I woke up at 7:27. I was up and flying down the stairs to listen for them to announce when to call.

At 7:30 I was calling and trying to get my voice to sound like I hadn’t just gotten out of bed. Devin answered and asked me to hold. I listened to the radio on hold while they found 2 other businesses to compete for the weekly jingle.

I was on the radio, for a long time! They asked me lots of questions about my business, and we talked about how the goats are naughty. I was chosen for the jingle, and they got busy making my song! I had been averaging about 1 order per day on my website, and all of a sudden in 10 minutes, there were 9 orders. I had averaged 2.5 new Instagram followers per day, and in 10 minutes there were 25 new followers!

Thursday morning we setup every camera we had, Rose recorded the audio, I recorded myself taking the call. They talked to me on air for a while again, here’s the link to that youtube:

After hearing our jingle, our work began. Rose and I sat down with our coffee and made a list of all the video shots we wanted. I reached out to a few friends to help with the scenes. It all fell together SO WELL! For the next 4 days we were filming, and every night Rose was editing. Fun fact, I was at a wedding on Sunday where they had llamas. I shot the llama footage without talking to Rose. I got home and mentioned that I had this new footage, and you should have seen her face. She wanted llama footage, and had no idea how she was going to get it!
