Karen has three favorite soaps, and this is one of them. This bar also sells very well at our markets where people can pick it up to smell the aroma. The coffee grounds provide for extra exfoliation, which feels fantastic in the shower.

Ingredients: Lard, coconut oil, olive oil, goat milk, lye (none remains after the chemical reaction), water, coffee grounds, fragrance oil.

Because our soaps are made using the cold process method, they begin at a higher weight and naturally lose some weight as they dry and cure. Our bars start at approximately 5 ounces when they are freshly made, but as they cure and moisture evaporates, they typically finish between 3.5 and 4.5 ounces. Since every bar is hand-poured and hand-cut, they won’t all be perfectly identical in size or weight—and that’s part of the charm of handmade soap!
